SABC1 BRINGS NEW SHOWS

SABC1 has made a few changes to their programming,after a lot of complaints about their programmes, according to their statement there are programs that are going to replaced by the new up coming programs as from September 2012. Some of them are as follows:

1. LIVE AMP replaces LIVE
The current season of Live ended on Friday 31 August 2012 will be replaced by LIVE AMP which is a new show starting airing on Friday 14 September 2012 (today) at 21h00, as we know that Bonang is no longer a part of the team, private auditions for male anchor to join Luthando are already conducted.

2. TURN IT OUT STREET BATTLE replaces JIKA MAJIKA
 At last, season 10 of Jika Majika ends mid October 2012 and the second season of Turn-It-Out-Street- Battles will take over from Wednesday 24th at 19h00 with new presenter. This show deals with youth from streets of South Africa to showcase their dancing talent, presenter and judges are not yet confirmed.

3. FAN BASE replaces JAM ALLY

Can you believe it?... Jam Ally is out... after more than 15 year on SABC 1, the current season of Jam Ally (S26) will be off after the final episode airs on Friday 21 September 2012- a brand new show called Fan Base will take over from Friday 28 September 2012 at 18:30. Fan Base is a playful, light-hearted and fun-filled music variety show, the presenter is non other than Zulu Boy.

    SABC 1 is real making huge changes i just hope that the changes can show some improvement and not dissappoints us

    Th national broadcast is doing a great job as they are giving everyone a chance to show their capability infront camera.This shows a going forward broadcast as they are in a huge competition with the likes of stories and shows in Mzansi magic.

    A change is always good. Changing an organisation old operation ways means knowing the changes around the area in which the organisation is opararing at.And changes also means having new target aduience living in the modern days.so I think that the SABC understands the needs of its target audience and saw it as important thing to change some of the programmes.

    im disapointed in the sabc because they promised to bring us the new live AMP which was supposed to debut this week n failed to deliver.

    SABC changes mmhh thats something to wait for on change they should really birng is a sport chanell since they claim to be the home of sport

    Organisations must renew themselves indeed because the needs and interests of their audience are also changing. I am a bit dissapointed because when it comes to movies during weekends they like repeating movies that we already know.

    It`s good to make changes, that`s what PR is about man it`s about bringing new people,new technology etc.It`s boring to watch the same show for more than 5 years. I really appreciate what SABC has done

    This is the good change although i will miss the energic Bonang,we looking to see the new people who will make the show alive. The changes is on the show but the theme stays the same, may be the LIVE AMP will go deeper.

    Finally SABC is adapting to it environment. Truly speaking I lately do not watch SABC 1 because of the boring programmes that are playing on the channel hopefully these ones will be interesting to watch.
